OXFORD – Benjamin H. St. John, 93 of Oxford, formerly of Norwich and Palm Harbor, Fla., passed away on Saturday, Oct. 28, 2006 at the NYS Veterans’ Home, Oxford.
He was born on July 4, 1913 in Downsville, the son of the late Benjamin B. and Irva (Lewis) St. John. On Nov. 1, 1940 he married the former Mary Rosekrans, who passed away on June 25, 1998.

Born Feb. 9, 1925, in Georgetown, Allie was the son of Grant and Grace (Whitmore) Whaley. He grew up on the family farm in German Hollow and spent his entire life in that area. NORWICH – Pearl Graves Cosens, formerly of Hayes Street, Norwich, died at the Chenango Memorial Hospital on Sept. 30, 2006.
Pearl was born Oct. 20, 1908, in Norwich, the daughter of Leon L. and Alice Miles Graves. The only survivors are several cousins. She was predeceased by her brothers, Arthur and Miles Graves.
