SOUTH OTSELIC – Anna Maria Hermansson, 92, of State Highway 26, passed away Thursday, Sept. 28, 2006 at Community Memorial Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility, Hamilton.
Born Dec. 12, 1913 in Sweden, she was a daughter of Anders and Anna Fredrina Bergstedt Larsson. Anna Maria was married to Karl Axel Henry Hermansson in Sweden on March 27, 1948. They emigrated to the United States in April 1950. He predeceased her on Sept. 2, 1971. Mrs. Hermansson had worked for the Kent Nursing Home in Kent. She was of the Lutheran faith.
Surviving are two daughters and a son-in-law, Berit Williams of Carmel; Betsy and Daryel Jensen of South Otselic; her grandchildren and their spouses, Chuck and Wendy Williams, Lola and Tom Tuminelli; three sisters, Annie Kristensson, Elsa Massleberg and Gertrud Gustavsson; a brother, Knut Larsson; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a son-in-law, Charles Williams and two sisters, Karin Modigh and Ingrid Eliasson.
Funeral services were held Sunday from the Burgess & Tedesco Funeral Home, 10 S. Main St., Sherburne.
Burial will be in Sweden at the convenience of her family.
