NORWICH – Christine E. Foster, 61, of Beaver, Pa. passed away Sunday, Oct. 15, 2006 in the Medical Center of Beaver.
She was born Aug. 5, 1945 in Norwich, and was the daughter of the late Frank and Angelina Famolaro. Chris was a member of SS Peter and Paul Roman Catholic Church of Beaver and the Marian Guild of the Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded by a brother Joseph Famolaro and a sister Jean Mary Famolaro. Surviving are her husband Robert D. Foster, sisters and a brother-in-law, Mary Ann Bodiot, Norwich, Josephine Diefenbacher, Greene, Julia and Leo Marino, Norwich, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Barbara and Mike Haus, Reading, Pa., Stephen Foster, New York City, Janet and Bill Lockhart, Moon Township, Terri and Blain Lucas, aunts, nieces, nephews and many friends.
A Memorial Mass was celebrated Friday in SS Peter And Paul Catholic Church, Beaver with Msgr. William Ogrodowski officiating. The Todd Funeral Home, 340 Third Street, Beaver, Pa. was in charge of arrangements.
The family suggests, in lieu of flowers, friends may if they wish, contribute to the SS Peter And Paul Catholic Church, 200 Third Street Beaver, PA 15009 in Chris’ memory.
A memorial service will be held locally at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Bartholomew’s Church, Norwich.
