Clifford King


OXFORD – Clifford King, 64, of County Road 32, Oxford passed away on Saturday, Oct. 15, 2006 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City. 
He was born on Oct. 13, 1942 in Oneida, the son of the late James and Mildred (Dunn) King.  On Dec. 21, 1974 in the Town of Augusta, he married Martha Hill, who survives.
Besides his wife, Martha of Oxford he is survived by his son Ray Hill of Norwich; his daughters, Cindy Ricker of Missouri, Cherry Curran of Oxford and Carmela Curran of Oxford and Heidi King and Michele King; his brothers, Harold King of Florida, Ken King of Florida, Paul King of New York, Norman King of Florida; his sister, Cindy King of Florida; his foster family, Jerine and Walter Smith and Beth and Donald Davies; and his grandchildren, Heidi Beach, Cody Beach, Lacey Hill, Cindy Lou Ricker and Mandy Ricker. His brothers, Jim and Tom, predeceased him.
He had been a farmer for most of his life and had also worked at Mid York Press in Sherburne and Sullivan Brothers Printing in Vernon.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford, with the Rev. Allen C. Lang, pastor of the United Church of Oxford, officiating.  Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Oxford.
