LEROY FOLZ
NEW BERLIN – LeRoy Charles Folz, 74, passed away on Friday, Oct. 13, 2006 in Floresville, Texas.
LeRoy was a native of Timahawk, Wisconsin, formerly of Chandler, Texas and resident of Floresville for 10 months. He was born in Tomahawk, Wisconsin to Joseph and Clara Maug Folz. LeRoy was a veteran of the Korean War having served in the U.S. Navy and the Army National Guard, also a member of the V.F.W.
He was preceded in death by his wife Dixie in June, 2001, also his parents and one brother.
LeRoy is survived by his daughter and her husband, Lynda and Dittmar Klee of Castroville, Texas; his sons and their wives, Rev. Gary and Lugene Folz of New Berlin and Carl LeRoy and Betty Folz of Spring Branch, Texas; a sister, Nola Bragg of Wasila, Alaska; brothers, Robert (Bob) Folz of Tok, Alaska and Richard (Dick) Folz of Anchorage, Alaska; 8 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren; 2 foster grandchildren along with many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation was held at Franklin Funeral Home, Tuesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Graveside services followed at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery at 2:15 p.m. with full military honors. Pastor Daniel Mueller officiated.
