MT. UPTON – Reverend William Albert Kuhn, 68, entered in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, on Monday, Oct. 16, 2006.
He was born on Feb. 16, 1938 in Hatboro, Pa. He was the son of the late Frederich Wilhelm and Frida Berta (nee Walter) Kuhn. He was a resident of Wrightsville, Pa. for the past six years.
Reverend Kuhn was the loving husband of Sandra Amsden (nee Cooper) Kuhn for 43 years.
William was educated at Upper Moreland Schools. He is a graduate of Practical Bible Training School in Johnson City. He was a US Air Force veteran. For 38 years, William was a Missionary Church Planter with Continental Baptist Missions. His pastorates have been in New York, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Illinois. At the time of his death, he was the pastor of the Fellowship Baptist Church in East York, Pa. Prior to that, he was pastor of the Mt. Upton Baptist Church.
Reverend Kuhn is the devoted father of Stephen Kuhn of Lecanto, Fla., Timothy Kuhn of Pocahontas, Iowa, and Deborah Cominski of Mt. Holly, N.C.. He was the loving grandfather of Megan, Michael, John, Emily, Joshua, Jonathan, Timothy Jr., Levi, Daniel, Caleb, Rachel, Melody, Noah and Julia Kuhn. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Christina Kuhn of Hatboro, Pa., Frederick Kuhn of Kutztown, Pa., Berta Campagna of LaGrangeville, and Nokomis, Fla. and John Kuhn of Punta Gorda, Fla. William was proceeded in death by his brother Paul Kuhn.
Relatives and friends are invited to his service Saturday, 11 a.m., at the Hope Baptist Church, 6450 Hope Way, Hanover, Pa. 17331. The family will receive friends from 9 a.m. until the time of service.
