SHERBURNE – Myrta Elizabeth Throop, 95, formerly of Sherburne, passed away Monday, Oct. 1, 2007 at Rome Memorial Hospital, Rome. She was born Feb. 1, 1912 in the Town of Fenton, a daughter of Adelbert J. and Helen M. Niles Peck. On July 1, 1931, Myrta was united in marriage to Harold L. Throop in Earlville. They made their home in Sherburne until 1980 when they moved to Placida, Fla. and returned to Sherburne for the summer months. PITCHER – Richard L. Brown, 80, died peacefully at the Alliance Center for Healthcare in DeLand, FL, Friday, Sept. 28, 2007.  He was born in Pitcher, to Lynn and Velmah (Loomis) Brown. A retired dairy farmer and avid hunter, Richard lived in the town of Pitcher until moving to Florida in 2002. On Sept. 30, 1976, he married the late Susie T.
