MORRIS – Pearl A. (Trudy) Layton, 81, of Morris and formerly of Atlantic Highlands, N.J. passed away at Valley View Manor Nursing Home in Norwich.
She was born in 1926 in Long Branch, N.J., the daughter of Benjamin and Pearl (Weeden) Layton. She had worked as a key making specialist in New Jersey for several years. She had resided with her family in Morris for the past 10 years.
She is survived by her nephew, George Layton and wife Jeri of Stuart, Fla., her great nieces Kim Layton and companion Dean Holmes of Laurens, and Lisa Jones and husband Eric of Norwich, her great nephews, Ben Layton and wife Susan of West Oneonta, Paul Layton and wife Larice of Bainbridge as well as several great great nieces and nephews and a sister-in-law Edith Layton of Oneonta.
There will be no calling hours and interment will be in Bayview Cemetery, Atlantic Highlands, N.J.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the Staff, nurses and cna’s for their tender, loving care of Trudy while she was at Valley View.
