SHERBURNE – Ervin C. "Ted" Perry Jr., 74, of Sherburne, passed away Saturday evening, Oct. 6, 2007, in the Gilmour Health Care Facility.
Ted was born in Marlborough, Mass., in March of 1933, the son of Ervin C. Perry Sr., and Marguerite McDaniel Perry. He lived in Massachusetts most of his life, though at one time he was employed as a cutter in a shoe manufacturing business in New Hampshire. He moved to the Norwich area from Massachusetts in 1987 to enjoy his retirement.
Ted is survived by his wife, Eleanor Perry of Sherburne; his son, Glenn Perry of Rhode Island, and his sister, Margarite Perry of Massachusetts. Also surviving are his grandson, Wayne Perry, Jr., and two great granddaughters. Ted was predeceased by his son, Wayne Perry; his sister, June Cuttler; and his granddaughter, Jennifer Perry.
Friends may call at the R. J. Fahy Funeral Home from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday. Interment will be at a later date in the Vestal Hills Cemetery. At Ted’s request, there will be no formal funeral service.
