NORWICH – Evelyn Mae Thompson, 89, of Norwich, passed away Friday afternoon, Aug. 31, 2007 in the Valley View Manor Nursing Home of Norwich. Evelyn was born in Vallonia Springs, in December of 1917, the daughter of Jay and Emma Pulis Terry. She was a graduate of the Afton High School and also took a year of post graduate school. OXFORD – Maurice J. Ingraham, 71, of Oxford passed away unexpectedly on Aug. 31, 2007 at Wilson Memorial Hospital, Johnson City.  He was born on Sept. 30, 1935 in Oxford the son of the late Maurice E. and Bertha (Meade) Ingraham. On May 5, 1956 in the Coventry Methodist Church he married Barbara Palmer, who survives.
