NORWICH – Meghan Sunshine Downey, infant daughter of Craig and Whitney Downey, went to be with the angels on Sept. 7, 2007. Even though she was with us for just a short time, she brought us love and joy.
Meghan is survived by her mom and dad, Craig and Whitney (Hudson) Downey of Norwich; her maternal grandparents Linda Frazer of Tuxedo and David Hudson of Phoenix, Ariz.; her paternal grandparents Lora Lee and Paul Russo of Norwich and Daniel Downey of Seattle, Wash.; her maternal great grandfather Reginald Alford of Avon Park, Fla.; her maternal great grandmother Dorothy Ives of Corinth; and her paternal great grandmothers Betty Haynes of Gilbertsville and Dolores “Dee” Dolgos of Norwich. Also surviving are her uncles, Brett Frazer of Coronado, Calif. and Scott Frazer of Tuzedo and Brandon Downey of Oxford.
Funeral services for Meghan will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. Andrew Hudson, pastor of the Chelten Baptist Church of Bethel, Pa., will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Wednesday from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at 7 p.m.
