Harry Pike


NORWICH – Harry L. Pike, 82, of Lake Panasoffkee, Fla, formerly of Plant City, Fla., died Sept. 8, 2007, in Leesburg, Fla.
He was a native of Norwich, and moved to Florida in 1970. Harry worked as a dairy farmer before his employment at Norwich Eaton Pharmaceuticals and then Publix. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lake Panasoffkee.
His four children survive him, Robert living in Edmond, Okla., Donald living in Mt. Pleasant, S.C., Marlyn Fowler living in Spring Hill, Fla. and Claudia Burghard living in Loveland, Ohio. Also surviving are four stepsons by Margaret Hackett Pike, who preceded Harry in death; brother Carl Pike living in Lake Panasoffkee, and sister Shirley Meyer living in Inverness, Fla. Lastly, Harry was blessed with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Sept. 11 in Plant City.
