Timothy Moore


NORWICH – Timothy E. “Tim” Moore, 48, of Norwich, passed away Friday afternoon, Aug. 31, 2007 in the Chenango Memorial Hospital.
The son of Harold and Theda (Baker) Moore, Tim was born in New Berlin in 1959. Following his 1977 graduation from the Norwich High School, he was employed for 8-10 years as a machinist by the Bendix Corporation, where he also served as a union steward. Tim then went to work for the Raymond Corporation in Greene, working again as a machinist. An easy-going man, Tim enjoyed doing auto repairs, and was especially gifted in the area of body work and painting. He also loved motorcycles, especially dirt bikes. He and his wife, the former Amy Randall, were married in Norwich in October of 1980.
Tim is survived by his wife, Amy Moore; his sons, Terry Moore and fiancee Andrea Moulton, and Joshua Moore; and his dad, Harold Moore, all of Norwich; by brothers Richard Moore of Norwich, David Moore and wife Pat, also of Norwich, Gary Moore and wife Denise of McDonough, and Robert Moore and wife Debbie of Connecticut. He is also survived by nephews, Eric Moore of Oxford and Kevin and Michael Duvall of Fabius, as well as other nieces and nephews; and by his cousin, James Moore and wife Heidi of Smyrna. Tim was predeceased by his mom, Theda Moore.
Funeral services for Tim will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday from the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home. The Rev. James Moore, Tim’s cousin and pastor of the North Pharsalia Bible Church, will officiate. Interment will be in the Tully Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call at the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home on Saturday from 10 to 11 a.m.
