AFTON – Erin Rose Larsen, 25, of Afton passed away Thursday, Feb. 22, 2007 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident on Route 12 and County Route 3 in Oxford.

OXFORD – Marvin S. Smith, 83, of Norwich, passed away Tuesday evening, Feb. 6, 2007 at the New York State Veterans’ Home of Oxford.
The son of Jacob and Pauline (Schultz) Smith, Marvin was born on March 24, 1923, in Spring Valley. He grew up in Rockland County, but left home at the age of 16 to travel to Wyoming to work on the ranch of his cousin. For the next 5-6 years, Marvin worked in rodeos and rode Brahma bulls. Howard was born Feb. 16, 1945 in Sidney the son of Howard W. and Gertrude Wilber Miller Sr. He grew up in the Norwich area and attended the Oxford schools. OXFORD – Robert J. Brady, 73, of Oxford, passed away peacefully in Mary Imogene Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown on Monday, Feb. 5, 2007.
