Ralph Fuller


UNADILLA – Ralph E. Fuller, 89, formerly of Unadilla, passed away early Wednesday morning, Jan. 31, 2007 in the Barnes Kasson Skilled Nursing Facility of Susquehanna, Pa., where he had resided in recent months.
Born on Nov. 25, 1917, in Sheffield, Mass., Ralph was the son of Vernon and Elsie (Dean) Fuller. He and Mildred Timm were married in Windham on June 30, 1938, and spent many years of their married life as owners and operators of farms in the Bloomville and Morris areas. Ralph was also employed as a truck driver for Victory Markets in Norwich for 18 years. After selling their last farm, the Fullers lived in Mt. Upton for several years, where they enjoyed country drives, long walks, and doing puzzles together. Ralph had lived in Pennsylvania near his son. Randy, for the past three years.
Ralph is survived by his children: Ronald Fuller and wife Hazel of New Berlin, Richard Fuller and wife Charlotte of Mt. Upton, Linda Bourn of Oneonta, Raymond Fuller of Savannah, N.Y.; Laura Kirchbaum and husband Dale of Greene, Lorraine Giroux and husband David of Smyrna, and Randy Fuller and wife Michelle of Hallstead, Pa.; by his sisters, Beatrice Wright and Marjorie Cahill, both of Orlando, Fla.; his daughter-in-law. Pat Fuller of Deposit; many grand and great grandchildren, and several great great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Mildred, on June 26, 2006; and by his son, Robert Fuller.
Graveside services for Ralph will be held in the spring at a time to be announced, in the Maplewood Cemetery of Mt. Upton. There will be no calling hours.
Arrangements are by the R.J. Fahy Funeral Home.
