NORWICH – Donald E. Benington, 88, of 14 Elm Street, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009 at Chenango Memorial Hospital.
Born March 4, 1921 in New Lisbon, Don was the son of Sumner K. and Esther (Johnson) Benington. He had worked at the former Norwich Shoe Company and was a veteran of World War II.
On Aug. 12, 1947, in Covington, Kentucky, Don married Thelma O. Jones Benington. She died on May 16, 1995.

NEW BERLIN – Ambrose Wolfe Jackson, 91, passed away peacefully at the Chase Nursing Home, New Berlin where he received respectful, loving and dedicated care this past year.
