OXFORD – Mark D. Knochenmus, 52, of Oxford, passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 27, 2009 at University Hospital, Syracuse.
He was born on Feb. 20, 1957 in Norwich, a son of the late Elmer and Marlene (Bush) Knochenmus.
He is survived by his children, Daniel and Kitty Knochenmus of Cincinnatus, Cordell Knochenmus of Oxford and Johanna Newberry of Kingston; his grandchildren, Mason, Francina, Brittany and Scotty; his brothers and sisters, Janice VanCourt of Sherburne, Beverly Williams of Oxford, Dale and Terri Knochenmus of Sherburne and Robin Knochenmus of Sherburne; his girl friend, Lisa Jones of Oxford and several nieces and nephews.
He loved fishing, hunting and camping. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was employed by Sun Printing.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford, with the Rev. Ralph Hinman, pastor of Bible Baptist Church, Norwich officiating.
Memorial contributions may be made to a trust fund at NBT Bank, Sherburne, for his son Cordell.
