OXFORD – Helen E. Robb, 94, of Oxford passed away on Oct. 9, 2009 at Gilmour Health Care Facility, Norwich.
She was born on April 19, 1915 in Chicago, a daughter of the late Carl and Johanna (Hansen) Enggaard. In January of 1937 she married Donald R. Robb, who passed away in 1974.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth Robb of Baldwinsville, Priscilla “Pam” Robb of Oxford, and Cynthia “Cindy” Casanova of Crystal Lake, Ill.; her siblings, John Enggaard of Barrington, IL and Kathleen Bridges of Morris; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Yost of Crystal Lake, Ill. and John Casanova of Frisco, Texas and three great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sisters and brother, May Kirchbaum, Paul Enggaard, Elsie Cusma, and Margaret Clement.
Helen was a member of the United Church of Oxford. She attended the Oxford 60+ Group for 35 years. She was a member of the Travelers Book Club and the Birthday Club. She served on the Chenango County Senior Nutrition Council. The family would like to express their deepest gratitude to the angels on Chenango Memorial Hospital, Floor 3 and Gilmour Health Care, Floor 2.
Private funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at the Behe Funeral Home, 21 Main St., Oxford. Burial will follow in Sylvan Lawn Cemetery, Greene.
