NORWICH – Edward J. Holmquist, Sr., 68, of Norwich and formerly of East Pharsalia, passed away unexpectedly Saturday morning, July 30, 2011, at his home. The son of Martin “Pop-Pop” and Margaret Gallo, Ed was born in Jersey City, N.J., in May of 1943. As a young man, Ed gained employment with the Pepsi-Cola Company in a journeyman type capacity. EARLVILLE – Joyce Ann Chesebro, 69 of Fayette St., passed away Thursday, July 28, 2011 at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Syracuse. She was born Dec. 1, 1941 in Dover, Del., a daughter of Lloyd and Agnes Hurd Warren and was a graduate of Dover High School. On Aug. 9, 1960, Joyce married Norman L. Chesebro in Harrington, Del.
