Oxford Golf Falls To Sidney

SIDNEY – Coming off the first match of the season on Tuesday, the Oxford Blackhawks golf team returned to action against Sidney on Wednesday. Oxford fell 232-246 against tough competition.

Bennett Paden tied with Sidney’s top medalist with a 38 (+2) on the par-36 course. Degan Endress shot a 42 and Blake Barrows a 43 to lead the team.

Clayton Carlson (55) and Justin Peck (68) add on to the scores while Edward Johnson received playing time as the sixth man (71*).

Sidney’s scores ranged from a low 38 to a high 50.

Oxford (1-1) is back out on the road this morning at Hancock at 11 a.m.
