GREENE – The 13th annual Greene boys soccer tournament concluded on Saturday with UV/GMU facing Windsor in the consolation game and Greene taking on Chenango Forks in the championship.

Both Greene and UV/GMU fell in these respective contests.

Windsor 1 - UV/GMU 0

After a scoreless first half, Windsor netted what was the game-winner within 10 minutes of the second half. The Storm were held to just one shot on goal from Trevor Smith. Goalkeeper Seth Meagley made six saves in the loss. The Storm also fell to Afton/Harpursville 6-1 on Friday. UV/GMU heads to Delhi this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.

CF 4 - Greene 0

The Greene Trojans had a chance to net a goal in the shutout loss as Kloden Rapp pushed a shot through, but officials took it back off a foul, leading to the advantage. The Trojans had other scoring opportunities, but couldn’t connect off a strong Chenango Forks defense. Greene heads to Walton/Downsville this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
