OXFORD — Beets, berries, and broccoli abound at this time of year, and the Oxford Farmers’ Market will have all of them this Saturday along with an abundance of other freshly harvested produce; local meats and cheeses; a wide selection of fresh baked breads, pies, cookies, and scones; locally-grown and milled grains and flours, granolas, crackers, and mixes made with local grains; local syrup and honey; jams, salsas, and pestos; local hard ciders; and artisan crafts, including hand-sewn kitchen items, artwork, cards, and hand-carved spoons.

The Market is open from 9 a.m. to noon in Lafayette Park. Folk fiddler John Potocnik and pianist Kathy Shimberg of The Barn Cats will be performing on the bandstand from 10 a.m. to noon. All events at the Market are free and open to the public.

In addition, Oxford will be holding its annual Trash to Treasure Community Yard Sales. Info will be available at the Market. Those interested in participating may send an email to oxfordrevitalizationcommittee@gmail.com to have their address included.
