OXFORD— The Oxford Blackhawks golf team hosted Deposit-Hancock on Wednesday afternoon, falling 239-246 in a close match. It was Oxford’s fourth match already this season.

Uri Tracy led the Blackhawks with a 39 on the par 35 course. Clayton Carlson followed with a 40 as Kevin Northup chipped in a 42.

Alex Whyte shot a 61 and Ethan Trombley finished with a 64 as Cooper Canaday earned playing time and finished as the team’s sixth golfer.

Oxford (1-3) hosts Unatego on Wednesday at 3:45 p.m.
