NEW BERLIN – After a close start to the contest, Unadilla Valley pulled away from Harpursville in the third quarter of Wednesday’s Midstate Athletic Conference senior night match up. The Storm used a 22-3 run in the stanza to extend their lead to 27-points in the 64-52 win.

The Harpursville Hornets did fight back, going on a 22-point rally in the final eight minutes of play, but UV was able to fend off the comeback attempt and come away with the senior night victory.

Prior to the start of the game, head coach Matt Osborne held a special recognition for his four seniors on the 2019-2020 roster – Danny Anderson, Caleb Parker, Dylan Nichols and Garrett Proskine.

Anderson and Parker each scored in the opening minutes while teammate Cameron Osborne tallied eight in the first, aiding in the 15-14 lead for the Storm.

Unadilla Valley then went into the locker room out in front by eight after Parker came alive in the second, scoring eight of his game-high 20 points.
