Top-seeded Blue Raider's prove too much for Trojans to overcome

TRUMANSBURG – For the second year in a row the Greene Trojans boys varsity soccer team – fourth seed – has dominated their way into the Section IV Class C semifinals, and for the second year in a row they have fallen short, this time losing 2-0 to Trumansburg.

The Blue Raider's of Trumansburg had to play a smooth and even game, in order to defeat the visiting Trojans on Oct. 25.

Taking the lead at the half was Trumansburg by a score of 1-0, after Logan Bonn took one in finding the back of the Greene net.

The Trojans would try to rally but were unable to sink a shot on the Blue Raider goalkeeper, Jack English who recorded five saves in the game.
