Meth Found Sunday Night, Probe In Progress

NORWICH – According to Lieutenant Richard Cobb of the Chenango County Sheriff's Office, there has been another methamphetamine related incident as of last night, this time just outside the Norwich city limits at the Norwich Motor Lodge.

“We did, with assistance of the New York State Police Contaminated Crime Scene Emergency Response Team, recovered several bottles used to make meth. The investigation into who may have manufactured the drug is still ongoing,” said Cobb.
