NORWICH — On Wednesday, the Norwich Purple Tornado girls’ swim team celebrated its 2025 season with a banquet and award ceremony.

Congratulations to Alexandra Shtrauch (L) on being named a STAC all-star, Mikayla Sastri (Middle) on making STAC all-conference and winning the most valuable swimmer on the team, and Kaelyn Conant (R) on being named a STAC all-star and winning most improved on the team. Great job to the whole team: Shtrauch, Sastri, Conant, Olivia Palmer, Jillian Petrie, Raeley Patterson, and Brynn Meek, and Coach Gantt for a great year with 58 best times,262 total season seconds dropped, 48 from sectional prelims, and 21 from finals alone, six top five finishes, four additional top 16 finishes, and a sectional champion.
