CLINTON— The Sherburne-Earlville Timberwolves baseball team earned a 9-4 road victory against the Clinton Comets on Wednesday afternoon. This win marks back-to-back victories for S-E after defeating Dolgeville 9-7 on Tuesday.
S-E’s Cooper Thorpe, Parker McCracken, and Tomek Jusianiec all led S-E with two RBIs each. Jusianiec and McCracken both had triples.
Chad Nower led the team with two hits (doubles) and drove in a run.
Ty Reihl also had a hit and drove in a run in the win.
Allie Whaley pitched a complete game, allowing four runs (two earned) on six hits, two walks, one hit batter, and struck out five batters.
S-E (2-4) hosts Waterville this afternoon at 4:30 p.m.
