EARLVILLE - Earlville Opera House is thrilled to open their 2025 Courtyard Series on Saturday, July 12 at 7 p.m. with 2025 Sammy Winner Jess Novak.
This year, the Courtyard Series is an All-Women Superstar Series featuring Jess Novak, July 12; Anna May, August 8; and The Chickadee Sisters, August 23. All shows start at 7pm in our lovely outdoor Courtyard undergoing expansion, with the debut of a new mural at the July 12 show. Tickets are $20/$18 members, and $10 for youth 17 and under. Jess Novak is a triple-treat singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist. With a shredding electric fiddle, powerful vocals and captivating songs, Novak is a force in any formation: solo, duo or band. Having touched audiences across the country – from Burlington, VT to Key West, FL to San Diego, CA – Novak plays more than 150 shows every year and has released 13 original albums and a book, to date.
Novak has played such prestigious rooms as The Cutting Room (NYC), The Saint (Asbury Park) and Nectar's (Burlington, VT). She opened the 23rd Annual Chenango Blues Festival (with headliner Ronnie Earl) and has performed with groups and artists including Devon Allman, Mike Zito, Tas Cru, Jimmy Hall, Ghost Town Blues Band and members of Butch Trucks and the Freight Train Band. Novak has also opened for acts including Melanie, Danielle Ponder, Ruthie Foster and Grace Potter.
Novak created and presented the F.I.R.E. Festival (females inspire, rock, empower) for the first time in October 2022 as a way to spotlight female artists, musicians and business owners. The festival continues annually.
While onsite, you’ll get to view in-person the newest addition to EOH’s 1892 National Landmark building- a period mural highlighting the architecture of the theater’s interior with an era-themed band playing in full glory! Earlville Opera House Arts Center is located at 18 East Main Street in the quaint Village of Earlville, NY. At EOH we believe accessibility and inclusion are critical to everything we do. Our historic Opera House has been upgraded to ensure accessibility throughout the building, including a hearing loop system in our 1892 theater provided by Hamilton Hearing LLC.
