NORWICH — The Chenango Health Network Cancer Financial Assistance Program is hosting their annual chicken and biscuits fundraiser on Saturday, October 12 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Emmanuel Episcopal Church, located at 37 West Main Street in Norwich.
The dinner is sponsored by the Emmanuel Episcopal Church Outreach Committee, with the cooking done by church members Gary Brookins and John Klockowski, who also help to organize and cook the church's annual free Thanksgiving dinner.
Meals will include chicken and biscuits, mashed potatoes, vegetables, coleslaw, a beverage, and dessert for $10 per person. Visitors are welcome to eat at the church or take a to-go box home.
There will also be a gift basket raffle with a variety of items donated by local individuals, businesses, and organizations. Raffle tickets are 10 for $5, and winners will be contacted the following day.
All proceeds from the dinner go directly to providing financial assistance for Chenango County community members diagnosed with cancer.
