NORWICH -- Saturday in the Park with Chobani welcomes all to their six-week seasonal market, starting up this Saturday, September 26, with new hours from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Norwich's West Park.

The downtown Norwich Harvest Market will feature more than 40 vendors selling everything from vegetables, pumpkins, baked goods, home decor, mums, honey, yogurt, coffee, eggs, baked goods, candles, homemade Alpaca hats and scarves, ice cream, candy, maple products, and so much more.

There will also be live music and informational booths set up by local businesses and non-profits.

"The hours changed so we can sleep in and stay longer," said event organizer Mindy Chawgo.

She said her sign that fall has arrived is when she gets to meet with everyone in the park.

"I can't wait for September 26," she added. "I can't wait to see you all."

Saturday in the Park with Chobani will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on September 26, October 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31.

On October 3 from 12 to 3 p.m., The YMCA, Chenango County Child Advocacy Center, Matthews Auto Walk-A-Thon and musicians Denny McCormick and Ed Gliha plus Hidden Icons will partner with Saturday in the Park to hold an annual campaign kickoff for the Norwich YMCA. The NBT Ice Cream Truck, food trucks, bounce houses and face painting will make the park especially fun for families with children.

The six-week event is sure to have something for everyone. Saturday in the Park with Chobani is sponsored and supported by Chobani and NBT Bank.
