NORWICH - Commerce Chenango is welcoming the community to the 2024 Taste of Chenango Music and Food Festival from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m., on Saturday, July 27 at the Chenango County Fairgrounds.

Building on the success of the 2023 Taste of Chenango festival, the event features local music artists, food and goods vendors, Touch-a-Truck program, yard games, a picnic area, and more.

The day-long music festival begins at 1 p.m. with Junkyard Heights performing on the Main Stage until 2:30 p.m. From 2:30 to 3:30 p.m., Khalil Jade takes the Acoustic Stage. Nate Gross Band follows on the Main Stage from 3:30 to 5 p.m.. Mark Nanni then performs on the Acoustic Stage from 5 to 6 p.m.. The evening concludes with Caviar & Grits on the Main Stage from 6 to 8 p.m..

Each vendor will offer a tasting for a dollar. Attendees will be able to go from station-to-station sampling what each local food artist has to offer. Whether it is a dip, a drink, a snack or small bite; attendees should be ready to experience a Taste of Chenango. So far, the vendor list includes businesses such as: Hidden Springs Brewery, Columbus Public House, Nina’s Pizzeria, Chobani, Taco Grind, Pires Farmers Market, Pretty Pretzel, Little Farmhouse Lavender, Angela’s Pizza, Daydream Herbals, Cook’s Maple, Vasquez Empanadas, Rolling Scones, and more.

About 25 trucks and big vehicles will be present at the Touch-a-Truck program, providing an opportunity for attendees to explore and learn about up close. There will be a face painting, a character artist, and a craft section where kids will be able to make a take-home project.
