SHERBURNE — The Sherburne Arts Festival will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 10 located at Gaines Park in Sherburne.

The festival, organized by Show Chair Kathleen Yasas and committee members will feature a variety of works by regional artists including photography, watercolor and oil paintings, glasswork, soaps, jewelry, pet products, woodwork, ceramics, metal work, pottery and much more.

Yasas said, “The show brings the community together in Sherburne’s downtown and offers an opportunity for people to shop local, and gives the artists the opportunity to show and sell their products.”

“The communities favorite part of the festival is probably the artist-crafters, but they also like the special exhibits,” she added.

“This is the first year we are having a juried show and we expect it to grow in future years. The festival pays for itself through sponsors and artist-crafter fees, with a small profit each year,” said Yasas.

The Sherburne Arts Festival will recognize Smyrna photographer Lee Ingraham, he will be honored as the featured artist and located in the artist tent. Ingraham is a premier photographer and his photos have been shown in many festivals, shows and galleries. His work has received several Gallery Choice Awards and he was also published as a finalist in outdoor photographer and digital photography.
