CHENANGO COUNTY – The New York State Public High School Athletic Association (NYSPHSAA) announced its 2023 spring scholar athletes, which features our local Chenango County schools and student-athletes. The NYSPHSAA recognized 3,024 scholar teams and 45,762 students who earned a GPA of 90 or above.

The Scholar-athlete teams from Chenango County include; Afton softball, Bainbridge-Guilford baseball, softball, boys and girls track, boys tennis, Greene softball and boys/mixed tennis, Oxford softball, boys/mixed tennis, and girls track, Norwich boys tennis, flag football, girls track, softball, and unified basketball, Sherburne-Earlville baseball, boys and girls track.

While the state did not disclose the names of each individual, the Norwich athletics department is proud to celebrate its 2023 scholar athletes.
