Every Tuesday from 2:30-5:00 p.m. the Dungeons and Dragons Club meets at the library. Then on Fridays, 2:30-5:00 p.m. there is a special after school program for Middle School students.

Stay tuned for the return of Preschool and Toddler Story Times. If you are interested in a program for your little ones call the library and let us know. We want to provide this fun time of stories, crafts and socialization for the little ones but if no one comes we will not offer this great program.

If you would like to be included in our E-Blast, an e-mail newsletter that goes out to patrons to let them know what is happening at the library call us and ask to be signed up.

New at the Oxford Memorial Library is our Jigsaw Puzzle Exchange. We have a cart full of jigsaw puzzles in the main hall of the library. Come on in and grab a couple, when you are done with them return them or bring in different ones. This is a fun way to while away some of these cold winter evenings.

The Oxford Memorial Library was represented at the Read Across America celebration at the Oxford Academy and Central School on Thursday, March 2 by library director, Nancy Wilcox and Daniel Wilcox. We always have fun tag team reading “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss.

We have a great collection of new books for kids and adults including a fun collection of board books for toddlers.

It may still be cold and windy outside and only the middle of March, but our Youth Services clerk is already making big plans for a fantastic summer reading program. The theme this year is “All Together Now.” There will also be summer reading for the adults.

If you don’t have a library card, now is the perfect time to sign up. A library card opens your world of imagination to all kinds of places, times and adventures. It will allow you to request books and DVDs from other libraries in the Four County System and the Oxford Memorial Library is Fine Free.

Don’t forget you can always check us out on Facebook under Oxford Memorial Library and Youth Service and on our website, http://www.oxfordmemoriallibrary.org. For more information call us at 607-843-6146.
