SHERBURNE – On Monday evening, the Sherburne-Earlville Marauders volleyball team celebrated its two seniors prior to the match against Westmoreland. The game results have not been submitted. Seniors LeeAnn Behret and Jordan Winton have been striving in their final year, despite a 2-10 season. LeeAnn currently leads the Marauders with a dominating 111 digs and also has 40 sets, 22 aces, five kills, and four assists.

On the other hand, Winton leads S-E with an impressive 122 total points and a team-high of 65 kills. She also has 43 digs, 25 aces (second on team behind Kali Waltz), seven blocks, and seven assists.

Both ladies have inspiring plans after graduating high school, which includes playing volleyball at a college level. LeeAnn will join the Tompkins Cortland Community College Panthers while Jordan has committed to the Finger Lakes Community College Lakers.

Good luck to both girls.
