GREENE — The Greene Trojans boys’ soccer team took on Dryden for senior night on Saturday under the lights. Congratulations to Dawson Kimble, Laken Loveless, Jackson Roth, and honorary senior Paxson McCumiskey, who couldn’t play this season due to injury.

Greene and Dryden both scored in the first half to make it 1-1 and it stayed tied throughout two 10 minute overtime periods to end in a tie.

Both teams went back-and-forth with opportunities throughout the contest with Greene outshooting Dryden the whole way through but were not able to keep possession and crash the net to break open the game.

Judd Dutcher scored the lone goal for Greene with the goalie out of the net. Goalkeeper Jackson Roth made at least seven saves in goal in the tie for the Trojans.

The tie puts Greene at 6-5-1 on the season thus far.

Greene heads to Oxford on Tuesday at 6 p.m. before heading to BGAH on Friday to round out the regular season.
