OTEGO– After a tough loss to Chenango Forks, the Bainbridge-Guilford Bobcats boys basketball team made a quick bounce back, defeating Unatego in a close 44-37 win. The Bobcats improve to 7-6 on the season with a 5-2 record in a steady season thus far.

B-G played consistently with 12 points scored in all but the third quarter, where both teams slowed down on offense. Even with Unatego inching closer, the Bobcats never gave up, despite having a short margin lead.

B-G’s James Hogroian continues to drive the team with 14 points in this contest while the team appreciated Connor Vredenburgh’s much-needed return to this lineup where he set himself up with 11 points in only a few games back. Ilias Wilson knocked down a three with 10 points in the win.

The Bobcats will host Sidney on Friday, January 27 at 7 p.m.
