NEW BERLIN— After being down 1-0 at halftime, the UV/GMU boys’ soccer team gained momentum in the second half to score four goals to win 4-1 on Thursday afternoon.

The boys rebounded after offensive struggles in the first half with good defense by Jayden Edwards down the line and consistent ball play by Dylan Webb, Hunter Barnes, Julius Smith, Fraser MacDonald, and others. Caleb Dix played a strong second half in goal.

Dylan Webb scored two goals, both while pressuring the goalie, while Julius Smith and Cash Osborne both netted one.

UV/GMU (2-1) heads to Oxford on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m. to resume MAC league play.
