NORWICH — The Mid-York Concert Band is inviting you to its annual holiday performance beginning at 2 p.m. at the Norwich High School Auditorium on Sunday, December 11. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.

We are privileged to welcome Maestro Doug Ernst as our new director. Kicked off by the “Star Spangled Banner," classical musical offerings will include “Kazachok,” a Russian “Prisyadka” kick dance co-written by Tchaikovsky and the Renaissance “Canzona” by Giovanni Gabrieli.

There will be “A Christmas Festival” sing-along and two Hannukah selections. The audience will be familiar with “Sleigh Ride” by LeRoy Anderson and the “Polar Express," a favorite of the children.
