OXFORD – Coming off a tough loss to UV, Oxford came home and played strong against Harpursville/Afton, sweeping all three games to improve to 7-1.

Leading the way for the Blackhawks was Ava Benjamin with 15 assists. Madalyn Barrows continues to strive as she earned six kills, five digs, and a block. Jadyn Ruff followed through with five kills while Elizabeth Knapp and Hailey Richardson each had two kills.

Richardson, along with Leah Oliver, both had five digs as Anaiya Davis and Mya-Rae Roys collected three digs each.

Roys also led the team with five aces while Barrows, Benjamin, and Quinnlin LaMonica all had two aces in the win.

Oxford will be on the road against Sidney on Tuesday, staring at 6 p.m.
