Three Arrested On Burglary, Conspiracy, And Theft Charges

NORWICH – What started as a trespass complaint in the Town of Norwich ended in the arrest of three individuals on burglary, conspiracy, and theft charges on Wednesday.

According to the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office, 41-year-old Aaron Gabriel (homeless), along with 33-year-old Tami Lyn Gray and 37-year-old Jennifer May Pollock, both of Norwich, were reported trespassing at a Norwich residence.

When officers responded, they found the vehicle driven to the residence was reported stolen from the Town of Norwich in June.

All three individuals were arrested on charges of burglary in the second degree, conspiracy in the fifth, and criminal possession of stolen property. They were held pending arraignment on Aug. 4 in Norwich City Court and remanded on cash bail to return to court at a later date.

Chenango County Sheriff Ernest Cutting lauded his staff for their performance on Wednesday. Dispatch swiftly sent resources and provided updates in real-time while road patrol gathered evidence. The corrections division also contributed to the investigation.

The Sheriff’s Office additionally commended the Chenango County District Attorney’s Office for counsel during the investigation.
