EARLVILLE — The Earlville Opera House welcomes you to a summer evening of music in our beautiful Courtyard with Barker Blaze at 7 p.m. on Saturday, July 16.

Barker Blaze consists of improvisational fretboard wrangler Dave Barker (Barker) with propulsive and passionate singer and guitar player Steve Blais (Blaze). They will be showcasing unique and personal interpretations of songs by some familiar folks such as Bob Dylan, Tom Petty, Richard Thompson, Neil Young, and Townes Van Zandt, along with a small but diverse collection of songs penned by Blaze and invaluably enhanced by Barker.

With their motto "We rock up the folk and folk up the rock," Barker Blaze say they mentally reside somewhere between Woodstock and Willie Nelson's Fourth of July Picnic. Some mixtures of electric and acoustic guitars are anticipated!

Thank you to our sponsors: Community Foundation for South Central New York; Live Music Society; NBT Bank; Preferred Mutual Insurance Company; sfcu; and Bruce Ward, Architect. Special thanks to our hospitality sponsor Fred’s Inn of Norwich.
