EARLVILLE - Earlville Opera House (EOH) is excited to present a fall filled with amazing arts classes. This series is dedicated to fun engaging arts activities for people of all ages. This fall we have classes ranging from pottery, papier mache, gingerbread house making and a three-part songwriting series. It is a jammed-pack fall.

For the month of September, you can paint your own pre-made clay piece with Village Clay here at EOH. This class is on September 12th from 1to 3 p.m. The fee is $25 per person and $22 for EOH members and Earlville residents. The max class size is twelve people and walk-ins are welcome while supplies last. The clay pieces will be painted during the class and Village Clay will take the finished projects back to their studio to glaze and fire in their kiln for a later pickup. Choose some fun fall themed items, perfect for the changing on the season.

For September and October, a fan-favorite series returns with our “Songwriting Workshop Series”, led by local musician Reyna Stagnaro. This three-part class runs September 12th, 26th and October 10th, from 1 to 3 p.m., all leading to a Songwriter Showcase on November 7th at 7 p.m. The fee is $20 per class session or $45 for the entire series! For the month of October, participate in papier mache and paint your own mini pumpkin with local art instructor Lori Crumb. This series is on October 10th and 17th, both from 1 to 3 p.m. The fee is $15 per person, $12 per EOH member and free for Earlville residents. The max class size is ten people, and you must register by October 8th. Participants will bring to life a cute pumpkin, first with papier mache and then painting (maybe even carving) during the second session.

Finally, for the month of November there will be a two-part class to learn how to build and decorate gingerbread houses. This series will be on November 21st and 28th, both from 1 to 3 p.m. This series is free for all participants. The max class size is ten teams/families, and you must register by November 14th. Local gingerbread house builder Deborah Cogswell Pierce will lead families on how to build and decorate your very own gingerbread house. This series is just in time for the Earlville Winter Festivities.
