EDMESTON – The Pathfinder Village community is celebrating its 24th annual Summer Concert Series at the Pathfinder Pavilion.

A mainstay of the area summer arts scene, these concerts feature free, live performances each Saturday afternoon in July and August, starting on July 9th  at 2 p.m. Pathfinder Village is located at  3 Chenango Road in  Edmeston.

“Live concerts at Pathfinder are a cause for celebration,” said Paul Landers, Pathfinder Village’s president and chief executive officer. “Our annual concert series has been a tremendous outreach event through the years and has featured many memorable performances. We appreciate the great support we’ve received from the New York State Council on the Arts, regional arts organizations, donors, musicians, and our communities.”

Pathfinder Village is a non-profit, planned community devoted to supporting people who have Down syndrome and other intellectual/developmental disabilities. Through quality residential, educational, vocational, and enrichment programs, individuals grow toward fulfillment and independence while giving back to our local communities. Pathfinder also offers many avenues for community inclusion through events, adult day services, the Bakery & Café, and Pathfinder Produce, the weekly fresh produce market that has serves the public on Thursday afternoons.

The Summer Concert Series is made possible with public funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature; regionally the program is administered by The Earlville Opera House. Additional support is provided by private donors, Stewart’s Shops Holiday Match Program, and WGY’s Christmas Wish.

Concertgoers are asked to bring lawn chairs and follow prevailing public health protocols while visiting the campus.
