BOYS' SOCCER: Cincinnatus Erupts With Big Second Half

SOUTH OTSELIC - Cincinnatus scored six unanswered goals in the second half, and flew by the Otselic Valley Vikings in a 7-2 boys' soccer victory on Wednesday afternoon.

Cason Stafford topped the Red Lions' attack scoring four goals, and Scott Schuyler delivered three assists in what was a comeback win.

"We took the lead into halftime, but ran out of gas," said OV coach Jacob Preston. "Cincinnatus was able to capitalize on its opportunities."

Preston singled out standout play for the Vikings by Lane Adams, Levi Lyon, and Garrett Wood.

Wood and Lyon had first-half goals for the Vikings, which led 2-1 at the halftime break.
