City Of Norwich Police Reform Board Seeking Community Feedback
Published: December 10th, 2020

NORWICH – The following survey was developed by the City of Norwich’s Community Advisory Board on Police Reform (CAB).

The purpose of the survey is to gather the experiences and feedback of the greater Norwich community in order to evaluate the strengths and explore opportunities for improvement within our local law enforcement agency, the City of Norwich Police Department.

The CAB was formed in response to Governor Cuomo’s June 12, 2020 Executive Order, called “The New York State Police Reform and Reinvention Collaborative.”

This mandate calls for the formation of a local committee to work with their police agencies to update policing policies and practices with stakeholder input.

The survey consists of just over 20 questions and is designed to be anonymous. Both paper and electronic versions will be available and each includes plenty of opportunities to provide additional feedback. At the conclusion of the survey is a demographic questionnaire that we felt was important to include but is completely optional!

Thank you so much for taking the time to complete the survey, we value your time and your input! Surveys will be collected until December 7, 2020. If you have any questions about the survey or the CAB in general please email cab@norwichnewyork.net.
