State of emergency for the Town of Sherburne

CHENANGO COUNTY - Multiple municipalities have declared a state of emergency following increased reports of coronavirus in New York State.

Sherburne Supervisor Charles Mastro has declared a state of emergency for the Town of Sherburne. The town offices, the town highway garage, and the Sherburne Public Library will be closed to the public effective March 23, 2020 until further notice.

No public entry into the town hall. You may contact the town office by phone, email or regular mail.

Taxes can be paid by leaving them in a designated drop box at the town office or by mailing them to the “Town of Sherburne, PO Box 860, Sherburne, NY 13460.”

Supervisor Timothy Brown has declared a "State of Emergency" for the Town ofNorth Norwich effective Tuesday March 17, 2020 until further notice.

The Town Hall and the Town Highway Garage will be closed to the public.

The Town Highway employees will be working during this time.

If you have questions regarding dog licensing, or marriage and death certificates, the Town

Clerk will be available by phone at 607-334-9224 on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 12:00

Payments for dog licensing, marriage and death certificates will need to be mailed to the Town of North Norwich PO box 104 No.Norwich, NY 13814.

Town of Preston Supervisor Peter Flanagan has declared a State of Emergency in the Town of Preston from March 18, 2020 until April 15, 2020. Town buildings including the Town Clerk’s office and highway department are closed to the public.  Key services are not affected.  Tax payments and other paperwork can be placed in the drop box at the town clerk’s office or mailed to “Preston Town Clerk, 1043 County Rd 19, Norwich, NY 13815.”
