AFTON – The Unadilla Valley bowling teams carried on with their successful 2019-2020 season as both the boys and girls once again swept the three games against an opponent. On Friday, the Storm overpowered the host, Afton/Harpursville, to win all four points in the Midstate Athletic Conference match on the lanes.

The boys claimed the three games behind a solid and balanced team performance as all bowlers who finished all games rolled a series score over 500.

Colin Grant led the Storm with a three-game score of 567 in the match, scoring a 192 and a 182 in the first two games and saved his match-high 193 in the third.

Rolling the highest single game score on the lanes was Nick Guller of UV, bowling a 200 in game three. Guller also participated in the first game, finishing with a 159. Mike Bliss and Nate Rumovicz also split the games with Guller with Bliss recording scores in the games one and two and Rumovicz bowling in game two.

Bliss finished with a two-game score of 327 while Rumovicz hit a 158 in the second game.

Brandon Kneale and Will Rumovicz were the other Storm bowlers who bowled the match in it’s entirety. Kneal’s series score was a 552 with a high of 194 in game two. Will Rumovicz recorded a three-game score of 538, rolling a 191, a 155 and 192.
