NORWICH – According to Norwich Field Band Representative Katey Nichols, the band has been working hard and has taken first place at two out of the three competitions it has taken part in. 

The most recent win at the Auburn NY Harvest of Sound was on Saturday, Sept. 28, where Nichols said the band won Small School 3 level with a score of 73.500, increasing the bands score This score by six points from last week.  She added that the band is under the direction of Megan Carpenter.

The band's next local performance will be on Saturday, October 19 at the Norwich High School Football Stadium. (Submitted photo)
